Who is Manvata?

Manvata

Manvata (also known as Vanshika Ravikant Dongre) is a daughter, a citizen, and a human being deserving of protection, care, and equal rights.

She was born on 21/07/2000 and, since then, has lived with a mental disability and has always depended on her family for support and safety.

In 2003, she lost her father at the age of 3.

From that moment, her life changed forever.

Instead of receiving protection, inheritance, and stability — which every child deserves — she and her mother were left to survive on their own.

Despite being a lawful heir to her father’s property and compensation, her rights were withheld.

Instead of care, there was neglect.
Instead of support, there was exclusion.
Instead of justice, there was silence.

For more than 22 years, she and her mother have endured:

  • Mental harassment
  • Social discrimination
  • Financial insecurity
  • Legal neglect
  • Emotional trauma

Her mother, Mrs. Vanita Dongre, has single-handedly cared for her without institutional or family support, facing immense challenges every day.

Yet they never gave up hope.

Manvata’s case reflects larger questions:

  • Are inheritance laws being respected?
  • Are women’s rights protected?
  • Are persons with disabilities safeguarded?
  • Are vulnerable families heard by the system?
  • Does justice reach those who need it most?

That is why we chose to speak up.

Not with anger.
Not with conflict.
But with truth, transparency, and lawful action.
